Had to work today. If one must work on a beautiful day as today, I’m glad I work on the waterfront. Take a look at this video… its awesome!

I was not satisfied with the outcome of photos from my last wedding shoot. The lighting was really poor in the church and I was afraid to bump the ISO too high, for fear that I would get nothing but grain in the photos. I then decided to trust the quality of my equipment (Canon 30D and 5D) and the software I use to process the photos. Here is an example of what I have gotten so far with my 30D set at iso 1250 …. any higher and the grain is just too unacceptable.
Fun in the snow
Prayers for those on the eastern seaboard as they suffer through yet another horrific storm! Here in Western NY, we had some snow, But nothing to worry about. I took a few pics on my way home from work yesterday. Here’s one that I sent to WIVB TV
I had the opportunity to photograph Kaytlin the other day. The temperature was 31 degrees, but the wind blowing off the lake made it feel much, much colder. Since she wasn’t really prepared for an extended outdoor shoot, we froze! I was only able to take 20 shots when she yelled “That’s a wrap” I happened to like this image, but didn’t care for the background… so I changed it!
Landon received a new “bomber Jacket”. For Christmas. The background was eliminated by using “smoke brushes” on several different layers.
The card is made from two photos, combined in photo shop.

Well, I have these digital backgrounds and digital props. The only thing real in the photo is the baby. This would be one great Thanksgiving holiday card!
